Thank You

Calendar of Events

Dear NHA members, friends, and neighbors,

We would like to end this year by simply saying, THANK YOU for supporting the Newtown Historic Association.

THANK YOU to every volunteer who helps us maintain the Court Inn and its gardens along with our Research Center. THANK YOU also to our support staff who are there to help the community do research on their homes or the Newtown area. Without these volunteers we would not be able to function as an organization. They are the ones who help us to preserve and protect the historic significance of Newtown.

THANK YOU to our members whose dues help to support the financial obligations — to “keep the lights on” and also to preserve our historic Court Inn. We also say THANK YOU to those individuals and businesses who have donated this year to help support us. It was a year in which every fund raiser we hold annually was canceled leaving us with no incoming source of financial support.

As 2020 is ending, there are still many ways that you can support our efforts either financially or by volunteering. One simple way is to name the Newtown Historic Association on your Amazon Smile account. You can also encourage your neighbors to become members of the NHA, purchase one of our Puzzles or participate in our Home for the Holidays photo contest. Details are on our web site at newtownhistoric.org. Shop in Newtown and support the businesses that are part of our community. Lastly remember us before the end of the year with a tax-deductible donation to the NHA.

THANK YOU,

Barry Fleck
President, Newtown Historic Association
