Garden Walk

Thanks to everyone who participated in the first ever Newtown Historic Association (NHA) Garden Walk on Saturday, July 22, 2017. This early morning walk was a huge success with over 35 attendees who walked 2 miles through Newtown Boro and Newtown Township viewing many attractive gardens. Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to walk through “Historic Newtown” enjoying the beautiful town we are blessed to live in and engaging in wonderful conversations with friends or new acquaintances. The weather was comfortably warm and sunny.

The donations collected from the Garden Walk are very much appreciated and will be used to maintain the Half Moon Inn and its adjoining gardens.

The NHA would like to hold social events like this again. If anyone would like to share their gardens, please contact Mary Jo Garner at 215 858 0939.
