Market Day is an annual Newtown tradition in its 48th year that takes place in the historic borough streets and is highly anticipated by our close community and surrounding Bucks County.

Market Day celebrates the colonial tradition of local farmers & homesteaders bringing their crops, livestock, and homemade wares into town to sell to neighbors & townspeople. It has transformed throughout the years to feature high-quality fine artists, crafters, food artisans & a farmer’s market.

Market day is family friendly, with colonial-era demonstrations, reenactments & activities. There will be two stage areas with live music, our annual puppet show and festival contests. There will be an eatery area with food from local restaurants, food trucks and artisan bites.

This event is organized by a team of dedicated volunteers and community members. All proceeds from Market Day support the Newtown Historic Association.
